London-based four-piece The Vaccines firmly believe that less is more, with songs like 'Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)' clocking in at under two minutes! Their fast and furious brand of giddy rock 'n' roll could almost be the sound of the Libertines and Ramones falling down the stairs at 100MPH. This talented artist began his career over three decades ago with appearances on Junior Showtime, followed by a grounding on the tough Northern club circuit.
His big break came in 1981 when he was a finalist on London Weekend Television's Search for a Star - this lead to appearances at the London Palladium with Bob Hope and The Talk of the Town. A short time later, Joe received the Variety Club of Britain award as Most Promising Artiste of the Year. Television specials in the UK and USA followed.
Joe's repertoire of voices is endless and includes hundreds of the world's top singers, however, he is perhaps best known for his impersonation of Shirley Bassey who has commented, "Joe can do me better than I can do myself".
During his career, Joe has received gold and platinum discs for his albums, enjoyed sell-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as touring Australia several times.
Now, Joe is looking forward to new challenges, new songs to sing and new audiences to thrill.

Following the success of The Barber of Seville, Swansea City Opera make a welcome return with a production of Mozart's popular and uproarious comic opera, Cosi Fan Tutte, as part of their national tour. Supposedly based on a true story, this comic tale of deception, doubt, devotion and the twists and turns of romantic love, sees how a cynical old man, Don Alfonso, leads two naive officers into a scandalous wager, in order to prove that it is against a woman's nature to be faithful - 'Cosi Fan Tutte' - 'all women are alike'. As the story unfolds we see just how well he succeeds; at first women are not willing but later... well you must wait and see!
There will be a free to enter pre-performance talk 1 hour before curtain up to discuss the story line, highlights & give interesting facts about the opera.

He tours non-stop with his famous ‘Happiness Show’ and has been seen in his own TV and radio series, and ‘specials’ like ITV’s much repeated ‘An Audience With Ken Dodd’ and an hour-long ‘This Is Your Life’ tribute.
His many chart-topping hits include ‘Tears’, which today occupies a place in the Top 10 best-selling records of all time.
His numerous showbiz honours include the first ever ‘Living Legend Award’ from the British Comedy Society, a Lifetime Achievement in the British Comedy Awards and in his home City of Liverpool he has been voted ‘Greatest Merseyside Of All Time’.
His portrait has been hung in the National Portrait Gallery, and his name is commemorated in the first ever ‘Avenue Of The Stars’ in London’s Covent Garden
