Clock Tower Tea Rooms

The Clock Tower Tea Rooms now open on a daily basis from 10.00am until 5.00pm during the season. It serves an extensive range of hot and cold refreshments; from freshly ground coffee, cakes, salads, sandwiches and baguettes to mouth-watering paninis or jacket potatoes. Sewerby Hall and Gardens Season Pass holders can benefit from a 10% discount at The Clock Tower Tea Rooms upon production of their pass. Adjacent to the Hall, in what was the courtyard stable block, this pretty building dates back to the early 1820s and was added by John Greame III. The Clock Cupola was added in 1847 by John Greame’s son Yarburgh Yarburgh. The present bow windows were added after the Estate was purchased by Bridlington Council in 1934. Outside the Clock Tower, on the south lawn is the Floral Clock flower bed. The Floral Clock was originally situated on Bridlington’s seafront, and was transferred up to Sewerby Hall and Gardens in late 1970s. The mechanism for the clock is actually in the Clock Tower Tea Rooms itself. 2007 saw the 100th anniversary of the Floral Clock and the flower bed was planted especially to commemorate the occasion. The Clock Tower Tea Rooms welcomes pre-booked parties. The building is accessible to wheelchair users and is self sufficient with its own set of toilets. Catering can also be provided for small meetings and seminars within the Hall.
